Music for your wedding video

I often get asked to recommend music for the wedding video. Everyone's tastes vary so it's not easy to suggest things.

Remember that you are going to be watching this video for years to come. If you choose the latest song that happens to be popular at the moment, you might find that in years to come, your wedding video will sound dated. Imagine the naffest, most irritating song of the 1980s (I won't actually name one in case it's your personal favourite!) Now imagine having to listen to that song every time you want to relive the memories of the happiest day of your life.

Choose something that you're pretty confident is going to become a "classic" - or choose something that already is a classic. The songs that get released time and again on compilation albums at Valentine's Day. Jazz favourites from the greats like Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong.
